Minimalist GPS Tracker App Reviews

Perfection

This app does exactly what I want, no more, no less. I just want to take a bike ride and see how long Ive riden, how far, how fast Im going, and where I went. I dont see any reason it wouldnt work for walking either. I also want to be able to go back and see where I went on past rides. This app does all of these things perfectly.

Too simple

Powerful app doing the job of recording points. But ability of resuming a track and logging some keypoints are really missing.

Perfect

This app is so awesome i think it must come within the iOS, i totally would buy it if was paid, thanks a lot for the developers! Love ya

Bad since iOs8

A nice app, but since iOS8 conflicting with other apps when running in the background. Hope this will be fixed.

Very good Tracking App

Small and minimalist gps tracker. Works perfectly!

Be forewarned

This works, but you will have to pay money to mail your data the first time. To be precise, you can email 5 minutes of data free each time, but must pay if you are sending more. You can use this to geotag an afternoon of photos in the same place, or else start and stop the app every few minutes if you are moving. I will use another app that is really free.

Miles only

How can I change to kilometers?

Really god tracking app

Low battery consumption enabled

Amazing!

I love the clean design of this app in style of iOS8, its simple, very simple, and very useful indeed! Theres nothing bad, I can export perfectly any GPX track and import them later on my Apple Aperture library for my photos captured with a not-gps camera. This is the best GPX app that I found on the store!

Excellent Driving Companion

Thank you so much for this app. The aesthetic is sparse and I love the functionality. I would really appreciate it if you could design a landscape orientation for your app so that it would look better on ones dashboard.

"Best of" Award

Im a lifelong runner in my 40s. I outdistance and outpace runners half my age. Ive incorporated technology as a training tool since the beginning of heart rate monitors. The MAJOR flaw with most well recognized running apps is "bloat"--fancy interfaces, generic caloric burn meters, nutrition bots, cameras, advertising, graphs and charts (Okay, some data useful). "Fun runners" and "social runners" become slaves to their phone apps. Hey, if it gets you motivated and keeps you active, great! But this app is the opposite – clean, lean and only the necessary information for serious runners. I consider this app among the top three of all running apps in the entire App Store. Perfection!

Perfect for Geotagging Photos

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is attractive, simple, and works great. Well worth the IAP.

Useless

Broken app. Start button to activate tracking does nothing. And yes Location services are authorized for the app but it doesnt work.

Simple and Easy to Use

This app does exactly what it says it does, and it works perfectly to geotag photos I take with my DSLR. No extraneous clutter to impede its ease of use. Recommended. Enhancement request: save GPX files to Dropbox and Google Drive.

This is blackmail

The app is simple, does what it is supposed to do in a straight forward way... Till you try to export your GPX traces: it asks you to pay to get your data.

Requires payment for data export

Your data is only yours if you are willing to pay $3 for every export

Delete Tracks

Cant seem to find a way to delete a track. Anyone know how?

Great app

Tracks location in the background and exports the data points to a gpx file so I can get tag my photos after my walks/hikes.

Awesome

This app is simple, and thats what makes it awesome. I tested it by driving down the road, taking photos with my Nikon D3200, then imported the RAW and GPX files into Lightroom. Worked as it should. I look forward to using it more extensively on my road trip next week. As a clarification, the $2.99 is a ONE TIME in-app purchase for exporting logs longer than 5 minutes (and some other stuff, but that was the main one for me). After playing with the app for a few minutes, I was happy to pay it and support the developer.

Perfect minimalist GPS tracker

This app fills a niche that Im glad to see filled: a GPS activity tracker that looks good, with a minimalist design and feature set. I usually want to just casually track my hikes and bike rides. I do not need extensive stats, nor do I need the in-depth functionality of a full-featured GPS app. Looks and functions as if it were an app shipped with the operating system.
